Empty Words

If everyone could be a ninja,

Or maybe even a superspy.

I wouldn’t have to be bothered,

with sending a reply.

Now you may wonder why,

I find it hard to reply

To a simple message

sent over cyberspace

Simply because the words I will use

Will go to utter waste.

Isnt the message clear

If I wont  accept a two month outstanding friend request

That I obviously don’t hold you dear

And I am sure that I am not some new conquest

Yet the message you sent is clear.

An ambitious intention I must admit,

But I won’t bite the bait here,

I have no intention to share anymore of my life yet.

Here’s just a little tip,

Empty words don’t mean a bit.

Akin to the silence I’ve given,

You have your answer, nothing needs to be written.
